Senior Key Account Manager for Mexico (gn)

We are looking for a Senior Key Account Manager who will be crucial in managing and nurturing relationships with current and prospective Mexican accounts. As a senior KAM, you will be responsible for building strong partnerships, maximizing customer satisfaction, and driving revenue growth. This role requires a combination of sales expertise, strategic thinking, and excellent communication skills to ensure the success and retention of key accounts.

Responsibilities

  • Set a National Strategy to select and develop Key Accounts in MX, understand customer needs, address their concerns, add value, and provide solutions.
  • Builds strong relationships with key customers, serving as their primary point of contact for all business-related matters.
  • Develops and implements Strategic Account plans throughout Mexico to foster account growth and identify new business opportunities.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams, such as technical, marketing, finance, and product development, to ensure exceptional customer experience.
  • Is an agent of change and open to continuous learning.
  • Is comfortable in taking decisions and is accountable for success and mistakes in the process.
  • Counts with a solid people network with key opinion leaders and renowned industry players.
  • Stays updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify potential threats and opportunities proactively.

Required Qualifications

  1. Degree in veterinary school, nutrition, or related animal health science-based field. A master’s degree will be a differential.
  2. Proven sales experience and key account management roles. Minimum experience in sales five years, ideally ten years.
  3. Strong business acumen and financial understanding. Solid people network in the Avian and Swine markets.
  4. Availability to travel to meet customers regularly. Time in the field is estimated at 2 to 3 weeks per month.
  5. Knowledge of the industry or market in which the company operates.
  6. Language: English and Spanish are required.
